What do you think can be improved for the community of women and gender minorities in quantum information right now?
I found diversity of gender as well as age as well as races, neurodiversity and others are transversal point in many ethical questions, in all I learned about so far in fact. I wish the progress towards diversity would be joined by the ethics questions and get a larger span, as I believe essential separated actions shall be United now and then to get more wait. Like si dica lists of many disciplined Ferber together to express awareness and ask for actions on a strike genere activists, healthcare activists, sustainability activists, and others coupd have more exchange and alignment and get more space and attention at scientific conferences touching upon technological subtexts.
What brought you to quantum science and what keeps you aorund?
In 2004 a professor who teacher thermodynamics in my master program invited me to solve something together and he mentioned quantum teleportation as an experimental fact. I was fascinated and excited to read all about quantum information and I remember that it looked so much clear, logical, and straight forward than classical physics. Currently I am motivated by the quantum technologies comminuti growth, I followed is from 2011 and found it a pressures bottom up initiative. I am a member of coordination and support team of Quantum Flagship since 2020 and I am motivated by willingness of the community to do things in a good way, to get education experts on board, to be driven by desire of equity, diversity and inclusion, and to dream of positive impact of the new technologies on our everyday lives.
