A directory of quantum information scientists...

...pushing the boundaries of our technologies and of our understanding of the universe.

inQlude was born out of a pressing need in the quantum information community to keep up with long-needed changes in society.

Our main objective is to highlight scientists in the quantum information community who, due to systematic and implicit biases, may slip through people’s minds in their day-to-day job. inQlude's first step aims to tackle gender diversity in quantum information science.

Why join the directory?

Showcase yourself: your work, your experiences, your skills. The community needs people like you as part of it.

Who can join the directory?

The database is intended for scientists working in various aspects of quantum information science: from quantum foundations to quantum hardware. We welcome only female scientists as well as scientists from gender-minority groups. Your activity can be carried out in academia, as well as in industry and policy.

How will the information be used?

The information pertaining to your scientific activity (including affiliation and academic qualification) will appear in your public profile, which is accessible to anyone who browses the database. The information on your gender will only be made public if you consent to the information being publicly displayed. When creating your profile, these two sections (public and private) will be clearly identifiable. When creating your profile, you will be given a GDPR consent form.

Note that your profile needs to be approved by one of our admin team members, so don’t worry if you can’t log in straight away!

inQlude would not exist if it wasn’t for the support of the following institutions:

The Foundational Questions Institute (FQXi), who funded this initiative through their “Outreach and Equity” Mini-Grant scheme.

The International Centre for Theory of Quantum Technologies (ICTQT) and the University of Gdańsk, who provided essential bureaucratic and logistical support.
